ralph’s.
The first time I ate lunch in a restaurant, it was a steak place in Vancouver. The last time I ate lunch in a restaurant, it was a steak place in Edmonton.
A lot of the time, when we’re in a new restaurant, we don’t really notice the difference between the two. But when something is different, it can be a very different experience. When the waiter asks if we want a side salad, it’s a very different experience than if we ask for a side salad. When the chef asks us what our table is like, it’s a very different experience than if we ask for our table.
It’s not just the food that is different, it’s the experience. The steak in a new restaurant is not steak. In Edmonton, the steak is a steak, but it’s not the same steak. In Vancouver, the steak is a steak, but it’s not the same steak.
It goes back to the waiter. Just because you order a side salad, doesn’t mean you can. When a waiter tells you that its a side salad, you assume its a side salad. When you tell the chef its a side salad, its a side salad. When the server tells you its a side salad, you assume it isn’t a side salad. When a waitress tells you its a side salad, you assume it isn’t a side salad.
When you order a side salad, you assume you are ordering a side salad, when in reality you are ordering a side salad. We all know that when we order a side salad, we are ordering a side salad. But when a waiter tells you its a side salad, you are still ordering a side salad even though you know that it isnt. This is something we see all over the world, and we see it every day.
To be fair, I’m not talking about the waiter who tells you its a side salad in the first place. I’m talking about the ones who just assume you are ordering a side salad. We see this all the time because when you order a side salad, you assume it isnt a side salad. I can’t help it, I see it everyday.
When you go out to dinner, you order a side salad, and everyone tells you its a side salad. But when you actually get to the table, you find out that it isnt. I know this is the worst example of the “always assume I’m ordering a side salad” trope that we will see in the future, but it is still a part of life and a part of how we are socialized.
In the world of social media, the word “side salad” is often used to convey a sense of familiarity. However, when people actually find out that the food they ordered isnt side salad, they know immediately it isnt. Its like they are playing a game of telephone where we can pretend we know everything and everyone else is still playing on the other side.
