We were invited to lunch with a group of friends at the Hilton in the city. It was our first time ever being served lunch there in the spring and we thought this was a great idea. We had a delicious lunch and then went to the city to see a movie.
We were very impressed with how well the food was prepared and all the staff was friendly and helpful. The movie was okay, but then we had to go back to our hotel and take a nap. If it weren’t for the fact that we had to leave, we’d have stayed there all day.
We were impressed with the food and the staff. We will definitely book another lunch in the future and definitely recommend The Hilton.
After a very relaxing, good-natured nap we decided to go see a movie again. Again, we were impressed with how well the food was prepared and how friendly and helpful the staff were. You know, that’s what makes me sad. In the old days we didn’t have to deal with things like this, but now they are part of our lives. What makes me sad is that so many people are still in denial and can’t see what’s going on around them. They can’t see the hypocrisy and the hypocrisy is what makes me sad.
I will never be able to say this enough: No one seems to care that the Hilton is not a restaurant. No one seems to care that it has no dining rooms and no waitresses and no service. No one seems to care that there is no food on the menu and no food is even served if you call ahead of time. No one seems to care that they are not the most expensive place to eat the night away. But that’s exactly what they are.
