juan pollo catering is my favorite type of catering because it doesn’t have to be perfect to be a great experience. It’s a small business that can be open for years, with only the most basic of menu options. Plus, it’s easy on the wallet.
Juan Pollo Catering does a great job in creating a relaxed atmosphere on its restaurant tables. It lets you sit back and relax while enjoying your meal. Its not all that difficult if you know what to do and how to do it. I personally like the white tablecloths, the white napkins, and the white plates. The black plates look a bit boring, though; I personally find them to be a bit too busy.

Also, it is a bit pricey for a cheap date spot. The only thing I found worth mentioning is that the price of a meal is not reflected in the cost of your flight home.

Their menu has since gone full license, and is now open to anyone who wants to go. I dont know if they will be adding more food options this year, but you can still get great meals for under $10.
Juan Pollo, the restaurant, is owned by a former police officer who got into the restaurant business after being kicked off of one. He now operates it under the name juan pollo catering, and has taken it over from the original family. The family is still very active, and has a restaurant in the state park, as well as a couple of other smaller operations.
I went to a couple of juan pollo lunches at the park, and it definitely feels like there’s an emphasis on “quality” over quantity of food. All of the entrees are extremely delicious (I can’t say enough good things about the chicken), but the service is slow and the portions are generous. The food is definitely worth the price (and the trip alone). I’ll definitely be back when I can.
