My wife, Stephanie, and I are big fans of the large, outdoor catering company, big moes. We love the way they make food look incredible and look beautiful in the end.
It’s a little hard to find a catering company that looks good, and with all the food I see in TV commercials, you’d think the people running them would be the kind of people who would be a little too busy. I’d think they’d be more into the kind of food that looks great on a plate and looks stunning in the end.
I am glad you asked, because we are. Big moes looks very impressive, and the food looks delicious. You’ll find we don’t like to waste food and we will be picking out our food from the many many different brands available to us. We have an idea of what kind of food we like, so we buy from a variety of different restaurant chains and other companies.

We recently decided to try ordering our meals from some of the biggest names in the gastronomic world. We started with a visit to the world famous New York’s famed Moes. I must admit, I have never had the chance to visit Moes, but I have been told by a number of people that it’s worth the trip. It’s a large, fancy restaurant. They have a beautiful, high-backed chair for you to sit in.
Its a fine place to go for lunch. But you have to pay $20 for a cup of coffee and $5 for a slice of pizza. There is a small salad and a couple of pastries as well. The desserts are only available for lunch and if you go on a Friday, it won’t be the same. We were told that they also have a great cheese selection. We went on a Tuesday and they had a very nice selection. Its not the same at all.
They have an 8-foot-tall statue of a giant moe in the lobby. They also have a little food court where you can buy moe-shaped-food-stamps and other moe-shaped gifts. I’m going to save that for another post.
I think the moe’s statue is the cutest thing. Its so small and its a little bit creepy. Its funny how much of their food is moe shaped, but they have a different shaped pizza as well. I don’t know why they would want pizza shaped like moe. If I had to guess though, I would say that its a kind of pizza that they are only making for the moe fans.
moe-shaped food stamps are one of the more bizarrely shaped cards we’ve ever seen. This is a particularly weird one because in Japan they use what are called “Moe-shaped paper” cards. They were one of the first things I ever bought in Japan, and they are extremely rare. You never want to give them to anyone who isn’t a Japanese resident, as they are very scarce.
